The 1980 TR8 was owned by an import dealership in Rapid City, SD. The owner never sold the car, closed the shop and put the car in storage. He passed away two years ago and his sister was the heir to his assets. I purchased the car from her in Feb. ’14 with 650 actual miles. Due to being in storage and not started for years, it required work. I had the emission control items removed as well as the original carburetors and replaced these with a Holly carburetor and replaced the original tires. I have all the original parts that were removed which will be needed to put the car back to original, and the original tires, all of which will be needed for a coucours vehicle. The car runs well and is very quick. The photos show some paint checking on the hood. I had a door and fender painted due to ‘hanger rash’ and some paint bubbling.
